Fresh Bread While Travelling Australia

When we hit the Gibb River Road we packed the pantry with long life bread alternatives like pizza bases, taco wraps, plus the freezer stocked with anything else we could substitute, we knew we had limited supplies so we tried to prepare ourselves as much as possible.

Then, we met Robin, she showed us the trick to make our own bread, the first batch we made in the evening together, you don’t realise how much you love the taste of fresh bread until you haven’t had it for so long! This batch didn’t last until lunch the next day, it was so good!

This is her quick, easy recipe. I have since made it quite a few times as per the kids request, once without accurate measurements as I didn’t have scales in the caravan, lucky enough it still turned out amazing!

Are you ready to cook your own fresh bread?
