NRMA Murramarang Beach Holiday Park, NSW

This park is tucked away (surrounded by National Park and the beach), and not close to shops but they certainly do cater for that fact! With a restaurant, bar and kiosk it is easy to kick back at happy hour and pretend you don’t have kids for a minute!

As we were there out of school holidays and in the middle of the week it wasn’t as “pumping” as it could be, great for some but I could see what an amazing place this could be on a busy Saturday night! The pool is small but very lovely and right next to the bar 👌🏼

They do look after the kids with trikes to hire, playground and a kids club (school holidays only) but I think the biggest hit is all the wildlife especially the kangaroos! Although you do have to be careful around them and watch your food, it is certainly nice to watch so many around. Unfortunately the washing machines / laundries were under repair but all other amenities looked clean. Our ensuite site (one of only two) was in a need of a little attention but nothing too concerning.

Direct access to the beach was amazing, but we did see a few blue bottles which deterred us from going in. Overall it was a great park with good amenities and facilities for the kids which would suit families that wanted to explore areas off the beaten path (bike riding or hiking through national park) or meeting up with others, but maybe not for you if you like being close to shops, etc
